Koch Membrane Systems, Inc. (KMS), announces its INDUCOR” and INDUCOR-G tubular modules for ultrafiltration of industrial process streams and wastewater. These modules have higher packing density and require less power than traditional tubular membranes and utilize the proven KMS PVDF ultrafiltration membrane which is compatible with most industrial wastewater streams. INDUCOR modules are configured with 1/2-inch diameter tubules; INDUCOR-G modules have one-inch diameter tubules. These open channel configurations are tolerant of high solids streams, including food waste and activated sludge from membrane bioreactors. The modules utilize industry standard threaded and Victaulic® fittings. Becauseof their tubular configuration, the membranes handle system upsets well and can be mechanically cleaned using sponge balls. Ideal for new installations and applicable for systems with flowrates of 100,000 gpd and higher.
