Koch Membrane Systems, Inc. announces its expanded hollow fiber series of packaged ultrafiltration systems. These pre-engineered systems provide a compact and cost-effective solution for small communities to meet the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). The HF series of packaged UF systems are now available in five models, ranging in capacity from 10,000 to approximately 800,000 gallons per day. These skid-mounted, self-contained units are available for quick delivery and are easily installed, since the only components to be added upon delivery are the membranes. The skid-mounted units are extremely space efficient, especially when compared to conventional multi-media filtration systems; the smallest model, the HF-4, has a footprint of only 54 square feet of floor space; the largest model, the HF-18, occupies 200 square feet. Depending upon the production needs of each customer, the packaged units can include from four to 18 cartridges.
