Trisep Corp., of Goleta, Calif., a leading manufacturer of reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration membranes, announced its development of SpiraSep, the first spiral wound, back flushable, negative pressure, ultrafiltration membrane. It’s designed to compete with conventional hollow-fiber MF and UF membranes currently used in municipal, industrial, water and wastewater applications. With its compact, spiral design, it eliminates many of the problems common to hollow-fiber membrane elements.
