Markel Corp., of Norristown, Pa., announces its porous PTFE tubing for use in ozone injection systems. The porosity of this tubing permits the passage of ozone through the wall of the tubing. The soft flexibility of the tubing allows it to be shaped into the contours of hot tubs and vessels used in water purification. PTFE tubing is inert, unaffected by the ozone, does not contain plasticizers that might contaminate the water, and is produced in continuous lengths.
