Pawtucket, R.I.-based Teknor Apex’s Uniprene® 7010 Series thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) compounds are approved for potable water applications in accordance with NSF Standard 61. Under the standard, manufacturers may use Uniprene 7010 compounds in faucets, liquid soap dispensers, dishwasher hoses, coffee makers, refrigerator ice makers, water coolers, drinking fountains, beverage dispensers and other potable and fluid devices. The components are well suited include gaskets, seals, tubes and hoses.
