Plant managers have found significant cost savings and reduced hands-on testing times by using Westbrook, Maine-based IDEXX’s Quanti-Tray®/2000 with Colilert® reagent. It counts up to 2,419 cfu/100 ml without the need for dilutions. The method produces accurate, completed results in just 24 hours. When used with Colilert®-18, the method detects E. coli in marine water and the time to result can be shortened to 18 hours.
