A new series of submersible drainers, the D130/D140, has been announced by the Water Systems Group of Sta-Rite Industries, of Delavan, Wisc. They are available in 3/10 hp (D130) or 4/10 hp (D140) versions and cord lengths of 8 or 15 feet with a mechanical style, tethered float switch. The high-efficiency PSC motors are oil free and have permanently lubricated ball bearings for extended life and quiet operation. The shaft seal in the oil chamber utilizes an energized double-lip design.
