Parker Hannifin, of Irvine, Calif., has expanded its family of specially formulated sealing materials for meeting NSF Standard 61, which restricts the release of contaminants into drinking (potable) water systems. E1549-70, the company’s newest seal material for meeting the standard requirements, is an EPDM base polymer that combines strong resistance to water treatment chemicals and excellent compression set resistance in both hot and cold water environments.
