Ontario, Calif.-based Vertex Water Products announces that its PureWater Machine undersink RO filter system has received the WQA Gold Seal approval after testing to ANSI/NSF Standard 58 specifications. The model PT-4.0 system has been tested for structural integrity, chemical extraction, pressure and reduction of TDS. Reduction tests of contaminants such as arsenic, lead, selenium, chromium-6, nitrates, nitrites and many others were made. A five-stage and pump-boosted system is included in the approval.
