Pepperl+Fuchs adds the 5500 Series purge and pressurization system to its Bebco EPS line of purge solutions. This Type Z/Ex pz purge system delivers a fully automatic solution in a compact, 316 L stainless steel design. The series is comprised of three components: a compact (5 x 5 x 4) control unit that can be internally or externally mounted and provides an easy-to-use interface; an EPV vent that functions as a pressure relief device, enabling the purge gas to exit the enclosure while providing a seal when the enclosure is pressurized and operating, and a pneumatic solenoid or manual valve. Other features include menu-driven programming and automatic leakage temperature compensation.
