Aries Filterworks, a division of ResinTech, Inc., introduces a new POU system for arsenic removal. The new system, Aries Hydra-As, features organics pretreatment and a proprietary arsenic selective media. The device is intended to help users meet the U.S. EPAs new arsenic guideline of 10 ppb and to remove chlorine and odors. This stand-alone device is pre-assembled with an automatic shut-off valve and faucet adapter kit. The metered valve is preset to a factory setting for safe and effective use preventing catrdige over-run. The Hydra-As is available with two or three bowl configurations and its exhausted cartridges pass the TCLP leaching test and are safe for disposal as household trash.
