To meet customer demands and new regulatory requirements limiting the MCL of bromate in drinking water, Minnetonka, Minn.-based Osmonics Inc. has significantly improved the ozone production control capability of its E-Series Ozone Generator. The E-Series generator now controls ozone production to the nearest 0.3 percent, compared to 6.25 percent in the past. This gives customers more precise ozone production control, helping to limit the amount of bromate created as a by-product of ozone disinfection.
