Ozotech Inc., of Yreka, Calif., announces its third generation ozone-based POU system, the new low-cost Flozone 2003. The system dimensions are 10 x 11 x 2.5, thus utilizing only a small area under the sink, and incorporates both filtration and ozonation to simulate the bottled water process. For serviceability, the filter is easily accessible without removing the unit’s access cover. Flow rates of 0.6 to 0.7 gpm with ozone residuals reading in the 0.2 to 0.3 ppm range are typical.
