WaterZone from Turnkey Solutions Inc., of Mahwah, N.J., is a wall-mounted unit that can add 12 to 40 gr/hr of ozone to water. This unit is capable of generating ozonated water at a rate of 25-to-50 gpm. Ozonated water can be used to kill bacteria in machine coolant for CIP in food processing plants, and washing down produce and meat to extend shelf life. It’s been approved by the FDA and USDA with GRAS status.
