Parker Hannifin’s Seal Group, of Irvine, Calif., has added a new low closure force seal material to its family of Parofluor ULTRA materials for high purity, high temperature sealing applications. The new material, FF354-65, is a white, ultra-high purity, perfluorinated elastometer (FFKM) with a low 65 durometer. Its softer properties allow for easier installation of O-rings and other seal types into less-common groove shapes, such as dovetails and radius corner designs.
