John Crane Inc. offers the Type 2106 Elastomer Bellows Seal, a unitized, easy-to-fit system for sealing small centrifugal water pumps, deep and shallow well jet pumps, swimming pool and other pumps. Available with standard carbon versus ceramic faces or a new grade of silicon carbide that provides excellent wear resistance, dry run tolerance and facilitates a wider spectrum of operation, the Type 2106 offers improved performance, reliability and reduced warranty exposure.The company also introduces the Type LMPC seal, a live-loaded mechanical packaging cartridge seal for static or dynamic sealing applications. The one-piece seal is mechanically loaded in the axial direction by a gland follower and can be installed easily in new or existing equipment without modification. Designed to perform in applications ranging from high to low temperature and pressure, the seals compact design makes it usable in all types of process equipment such as mixers, agitators, positive displacement, reciprocating or centrifugal pumps, hydraulic cylinders and valves.
