ACM Company Inc., of Forest Hill, Md., announces Carboclay, a new media intended for use as a pre-treatment for ion exchange resins or membrane systems used in metal finishing or wastewater applications. This new filter material protects downstream units from fouling by oil, organics and hydrocarbons. It can extend the service life of the resin or membranes by more than 50 percent, and save time and money by eliminating the need for special cleaning procedures.
