New flow switch
Thomas Products Ltd., of Southington, Conn., presents the new Model 2600 flow switch. The unit uses a unique two-mode design—set point and bypass. The set point is achieved either by increasing or decreasing liquid flow at the calibrated set point of the flow switch. A magnet-equipped shuttle displaced at the calibrated set point actuates the hermetically sealed reed switch housed within the removable bonnet assembly. The bypass mode allows for high flow, but maintains a very low-pressure drop.
