Met Pro Corp.’s Keystone Filter Division, of Hatfield, Pa., has a standard economical wound carbon cartridge that provides reliability and is now available in a Giant version. Like the standard cartridge, the version is made of activated carbon fiber, which is proven to remove bad taste and odors by adsorption. The cartridge is tightly wound and uses very fine activated carbon particles to maximize adsorption efficiency. This economical cartridge is also cellulose-free, making it ideal for well water applications.
