AquaSensors has introduced a Modbus version of its patented DataStick” family of analytical sensors. The DataStick systems communicate directly with programmable logic controllers, PCs and process controllers using Modbus. The sensors are plug-and-play, delivering data directly over Modbus communications, eliminating analog wiring and field calibration. Applications can now be accomplished with 24-bit analog data resolution by communicating to the sensors directly over industrial networks including Device Net, Profibus, Modbus, Rockwell DF-1, USB, RS-232 and RS-485 to measure temperature, pH, DO, ORP, ozone, conductivity and resistivity.
