Membrana-Charlotte introduces 8 x 40 and 8 x 80-inch Liqui-Cel® membrane contactors. The product design uses ASME code-rated RO vessels for contactor housings, which are both rated to 300 psi. They also utilize combined NPT and Victaulic® connections on the shellside for a stacked system design that reduces footprint and weight. The devices utilize cartridges of polypropylene hollow fiber inside the RO vessel. An individual 8 x 40 module can process 5.7 to 28.4 m3/hr. (25 to 125 gpm) and the 8 x 80 can process 11.4 to 34.1 m3/hr. (50 to 150 gpm). Multiple contactors are piped together to handle higher flowrates. http://www.liqui-cel.com,[email protected]
