WEDECO, of Germany, has developed a new generation of low-pressure lamps for water disinfection using UV light. The new high-tech Spektrotherm® HP lamp is the result of intensive research and development work in the company’s laboratories. The result is a significant increase in customer benefits—the UVC emission of the lamp used for disinfection has been increased considerably. This allows for the design of more compact installations and reduces construction and installation costs.
