Cleanwell Water Systems International Inc., of Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada, has introduced the Jet Chlorinator, which is currently under patent application protection for North America. This simple yet effective device injects liquid chlorine into dug or drilled wells to eliminate coliform and E. coli bacteria contamination. In several cases of wells having near lethal levels of contamination, test results from an Ontario Ministry of Health laboratory–after using the chlorinator–came back at 0 E. coli and 0 coliform.
