Stillwater, Okla.-based Freedom Filters Inc. has invented a portable water filtration system. It was exhibited at INPEX, May 14-17, in Pittsburgh. The “Freedom Filter?? is a manually powered water purification system. Unlike conventional purifiers, it enables individuals to decontaminate drinking water in areas where no water pressure or electricity is available. Users can transport this 10-pound tank while vacationing in remote areas, and use it to better ensure that their water is safe to drink.
