Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.‘s EQuan MAX, an automated, high-throughput liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) solution for the analysis of contaminants in water and beverages, boasts new screening and quantitative capabilities that provide enhanced system flexibility and productivity. It combines with the power of the Exactive(TM) LC-MS system, a high-resolution benchtop LC-MS system, powered by Oribtrap(TM) technology, designed for high-throughput screening of target and non-target compounds. Large injection volume (one to 20 mL) improves detection limits over conventional LC-MS analysis, and can now support injection volumes as low as one L.
