The simplicity and selectivity of PH and MH Series humidifiers using Nafion tubing from Perma Pure, of Toms River, N.J., have recently opened several new applications for this membrane technology. Although Nafion dryers have been used by this instrument industry for years, humidifiers based on the same principle are a recent development. The humidifiers are finding increasing use with fuel cells, particle measurement apparatus and in respiratory care.
