A complete line of 3,500/6,000 psi flow meters for monitoring and measuring high temperature hydraulic fluids has been introduced by Racine, Wisc.-based Hedland Flow Meters, a division of Racine Federated Inc. The direct reading, high temperature flow meters can operate continuously at temperatures to 400°F and intermittently from 400-500°F. Standard flow meters typically operate to 240°F. Typical applications for the meters include monitoring the temperatures of transformer oils, diesel fuels and gear box lubrication oils.
