A complete line of 3,500/6,000 psi flow meters for monitoring and measuring high temperature hydraulic fluids has been introduced by Racine, Wisc.-based Hedland Flow Meters, a division of Racine Federated Inc. The direct reading, high temperature flow meters can operate continuously at temperatures to 400 degrees F and intermittently from 400-500 degrees F. Standard flow meters typically operate to 240 degrees F. Typical applications for the meters include monitoring the temperatures of transformer oils, diesel fuels and gear box lubrication oils.
