Charlotte, N.C.-based Celgard Inc., a membrane and device manufacturer, introduces a new high pressure X50 hollow fiber membrane in its full line of Liqui-Cel Membrane Contractors used for transferring gases to and from liquid streams. X50 Hollow Fiber is robust and will withstand pressures up to 120 psi. The pressure limits have been doubled over earlier fiber variants used for CO2 removal applications. This is a tremendous benefit because the user no longer needs to repressurize liquid after the CO2 removal step.
