Woodstock, Ga.-based weber Sensors introduces the 4115.30 smart flow-captors for liquid and semi-liquid applications. Based on the calirometric principle and pioneered by weber, these sensors have no moving parts, so unlike their mechanical (vane or paddlewheel) counterparts, they are not subject to sticking or lock-up. The flow-captors are more economical than ultrasonic and doppler sensors. Also available are sensors with a transistor or dry contact switch.
