Schroeder Industries’ Automatic Cyclone Strainer is designed for the intermittent filtration of solid particles from low-viscosity fluids such as surface water, coolant and process water. The unit has a flow rate of up to 525 gpm (1,987.3 L/m), up to 230 psi, a filtration rating of 200 to 3,000 m. It is particularly suited to high levels of contamination and large fluctuations in solid particle content of untreated water. Backflushing or use of cleaning fluids or chemicals is not required; filter elements are cleaned solely by surface flushing with untreated fluids.
