AquaShield” Inc.s Aqua-Filter” storm water filtration chamber has been conditionally certified by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). The Aqua-Filter chamber is a key component of the Aqua-Filter storm water filtration system, an in-line system capable of gross contaminant removal and the removal of fine sediments, waterborne hydrocarbons, heavy metals and nutrients such as phosphorous and nitrogen. The certification comes on the heels of the NJDEPs certification of AquaShields Aqua-Swirl” Concentrator, a hydrodynamic separator which provides a highly effective means for the removal of TSS (course/ fine sediment), floating debris and free oil. The New Jersey Center for Advanced Technology certified both systems based on performance data supplied.
