A new cast-iron, submersible, effluent pump has been introduced by the Water Systems Group of Sta-Rite Industries, of Delavan, Wis., Designated the EC9 Series, the rugged pump has a non-clog, semi-open impeller with solids-handling capability to 3/4”. A 2” NPT vertical discharge is standard. The unit is available in 230V/single phase and 208-230/460V/ three phase and comes complete with a 20-foot power cord. The EC9 series is ideal for effluent and wastewater removal, sump drainage and dewatering up to 130 degrees F.
