Italbedis S.p.A. introduces the WBK disinfection device for containers, glass tanks or holders made of food-grade materials. The system can be used for purification of well water, wastewater treatment and prevention against Legionella infections in hospitals, hotels campsites and public swimming pools. The system features a special combination of minerals that produce a chemical oxide-reduction reaction when in contact with water, transforming chemical energy into electricity. Once the energy is freed, it carries out antibacterial action, chlorine reduction and limescale reduction.
