Industrial Test Systems Inc. now offers a cyanide testing kit for monitoring effluents and surface waters. The Cyanide ReagentStrip™ requires as little as two minutes for cyanide colorimetric analysis and has a detection sensitivity of 0.01 ppm (mg/L) with a range of 1.0 ppm. In addition to water testing, it has the sensitivity to detect cyanide in cigarettes and is also being marketed to schools for anti-smoking demonstrations in the classroom.
