Copper ball valves
Watts Regulator Co., of North Andover, Mass., has introduced its EZ-Sweat ball valves with copper union tailpieces. The detachable copper tailpieces eliminate potential valve seat damage incurred from high soldering temperatures. Because the tailpieces are copper, soldering is simpler and faster than working with bronze or brass, which require higher soldering temperatures and longer heating times. The valve is available with a range of end connections for maximum flexibility.
