Nextteq, of Tampa, Fla., released the new Gastec Free Residual Chlorine Detector Tube No. 222. With a range of 0.1-10 ppm, it has the lowest and widest range available to measure free residual chlorine in a solution with a detector tube. It’s comparable to analytical methods used for chlorine residual testing recognized in the latest edition of “Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater.” It’s fast, easy and no technical training is required to perform an accurate field test of free residual chlorine.
