Master Bond Inc. offers EP62-1MED, a new, two-component epoxy adhesive system specifically designed to withstand repeated cycles of steam, ethylene oxide, radiation and chemical sterilization. It cures at moderately elevated temperatures of 150°F-200°F (65.6°C-93.3°C) and offers a long working life at room temperatures. The epoxy contains no solvents or volatiles and has excellent bond strength to metals, glass, ceramics, wood and most plastics. It features a 100:10 mix ratio by weight with outstanding durability and is serviceable up to 400°F (204.4°C) with a low shrinkage-upon-cure rate (< 0.06 percent).
