ITT Flojet introduces its line of magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps for operations where high reliability is paramount, leak-free transfer is a must, purity of the pumped medium must be maintained, and where temperature is critical. The technology includes a motor driving a set of magnets, eliminating the need for motor shaft seals. This creates a temperature barrier between the motor and the media, improving the life of the motor and reducing heat transfer to the media. The durable polypropylene (PP) and Ryton (PPS) housings and ceramic spindles allow for maximum chemical resistance.
