George Fischer Inc., of Tustin, Calif., has added the new high purity lug style type 365 butterfly valve to its already extensive portfolio of ball, butterfly and diaphragm valves. This new valve, which features a Teflon® PFA (perfluoro-alkoxy resin) encapsulated alloy steel disc with Teflon® PTFE (polytetrafluoro-ethylene) liner, is ideally suited for ultrapure water or aggressive corrosive service in semiconductor and chemical processing applications.
