Brine valve
Clack Corporation’s 484 brine valve has a modular design that eliminates the use of six stainless steel screws, washers and nuts in the body. It will be easier to field-service and clean if necessary. The distributor cone is now a quarter-turn bayonet lock and the top body cap is threaded for easier service. The improved flowrates are 10-gpm draw and 5-gpm refill. This valve’s robust interior design features an increased ball cage to help prevent prechecking and the float design is simple to adjust with a Jaco nut-style locking mechanism.
