Denver-based Valve & Filter Corp. announces its new “V-Line?? of automatic screen filters for pre-filtration of bag filters, cartridge filters, UF and RO systems. Capable of removing 10 micron and larger particles, the all-stainless steel filters range in size from 100 gpm to 3,000 gpm and larger. The patented flushing system utilizes a reaction motor and reversing device that requires no outside source of power to operate. It uses less flush water (about 4 gallons while processing at 100 gpm) and is the only automatic filter of this type that can operate efficiently in continuous flush mode during upset conditions.
