Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, of Columbia, Md., has introduced an online version of its powerful TOC-Vc series analyzers. Offering a detection limit of 4 parts per billion and measurement capability up to 25,000 parts per million, the analyzer utilizes a two-point calibration curve that can be increased to seven points with the optional Octopus autosampler. Auto-validation software for USP applications is standard. A choice of data output includes an analog mode (0-1 V or 4-20 mA) or an RS232.
