KROHNE’s SMARTSENS 2-wire-loop powered analytical sensors with integrated transmitter technology significantly reduce the risk of failures and offer ease of handling for analytical sensors, which include those for pH, ORP and conductivity, followed by other parameters. A miniaturized transmitter is fitted into the sensor head; any SMARTSENS sensor can be connected directly to the process control system, featuring direct communication via 4-20 mA/HART. The digital sensors, which can be (re-)calibrated off-line in a laboratory under controlled conditions, will store the calibration data and can be plugged in again on-site.
