Mountain View, Calif.-based Pickering Laboratories, a manufacturer and supplier of post-column derivatiza-tion instruments and consumables, has launched an advanced instrumentation that aims to deliver significant cost savings over the previous generation of post-column tools. The Pinnacle PCX is poised to raise standards throughout the HPLC industry in analyzing difficult-to-detect compounds such as mycotoxins in food, amino acids in serum and pesticides in crops. It was unveiled March 8 at Pittcon 2004 in Chicago.
