Danfoss Water and Wastewater, a division of Danfoss Inc., introduces a compact, economical and completely integrated system solution for the growing number of applications in which IEEE 519-1992 guidelines need to be addressed. Their Advanced Harmonic Solutions package combines the Danfoss VLT® Series variable frequency drives with the new AHF Series filters. The AHF 005 package reduces harmonic distortion to less than five percent, thus providing performance similar to that of an 18-pulse drive under ideal conditions. One filter module can be used in conjunction with several variable frequency drives.
