Watertown, Mass.-based Ionics Inc. showcased its range of membrane technologies used in water and wastewater treatment at WEFTEC in Los Angeles. The company featured its membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems. MBR is one of the fastest growing segments in wastewater treatment due to its ability to meet current discharge regulations as well as future stricter limits. The company announced the signing of an exclusive marketing and license agreement with Mitsubishi Rayon.
