The International Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Foundation (IWSH) has completed the construction and setup of a new plumbing classroom and wet lab at the Navajo Technical University Kirtland Instructional Site in Kirtland, NM. This facility was completed for the start of the Navajo Nation’s first-ever dedicated plumbing training program that will take place later this month. The education facility will offer a 34-credit plumbing certificate program; the courses, developed by IWSH, will cover plumbing concepts and applications, equipping learnings with the skill sets and understanding needing for a career in the plumbing industry.
