Clifford L. Fasnacht, incoming California Groundwater Association (CGA) president, thanks those who took the time to communicate with their local politician in opposition of AB 2201. The bill was not taken up for a concurrence vote in the Assembly, and due to the legislative session having ended for the year, the bill is “dead” for the year. Though AB 2201 failed to make it out of the assembly, this does not mean it is the end for the bill. The CGA will be taking time to invest in new members that will be coming on board this year in the Senate and Assembly.
