    The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) has released IAPMO/ANSI Z601-2018, Scale Reduction Devices. It covers scale reduction devices intended for residential and similar water‐heating applications and specifies general, material safety, structural integrity and minimum performance testing requirements.     IAPMO has released hardcopy and digital versions of its 2018 editions of the Uniform Solar, Hydronics and Geothermal Code (USHGC) and Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code (USPSHTC). Both the hardcopy and eBook (viewable on computers, tablets and smart phones) versions can be purchased and downloaded via the IAPMO web store. Read the full release here.

    IAPMO has posted online the 2018 Report on Proposals (ROP)for the 2021 editions of Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC®) and Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC®). No hardcopy editions of these publications will be printed or distributed. Click here for details.
